MP SPARCH was founded by Morpho Papanikolaou as a continuation of SPARCH, the architectural practice originally established by Morpho Papanikolaou and Rena Sakellaridou, with offices in Athens and Thessaloniki.
The firm’s work is internationally recognized, receiving numerous awards, distinctions, and features in publications, exhibitions, and conferences worldwide. Morpho Papanikolaou studied architecture in Venice (dipl. Arch IUAV), where she did graduate research. She has taught at the IUAV, at the International Workshop of IUAV and she takes part in the IUAV Abroad network. She was an Adjunct Lecturer at the School of Architecture AUTh. She gave lectures and she designed exhibitions of the Kostakis collection in collaboration with MOMus in Greece and abroad. Recent distinctions include the nomination of two projects for the Mies van der Rohe Award 2024, a recognition at the Grail Awards 2024 and the Iconic Awards 2025.
