NAOMI – ECUMENICAL WORKSHOP FOR REFUGEES

MADE IN THESSALONIKI

The NAOMI Refugee Workshop is an urban non-profit organization based in Thessaloniki. Its mission is to provide humanitarian aid to refugees and support activities that help them integrate into society. In its professionally equipped workshop, refugees are trained by experts in pattern making, sewing, and clothing alteration. Currently, more than 40 individuals are receiving training. The goal is for them to eventually sew for their families and friends, as well as to find employment in the textile industry, enabling them to support their families independently.Experienced professionals in the fashion industry — designers and tailors — work alongside Syrian refugees to create and refine these models. Each piece carries a label that reads: “remember Idomeni by NAOMI.”
