OPEN HOUSE THESSALONIKI & VOLUNTEERING

Open House Thessaloniki is based on volunteering. Volunteers carry out the event during its duration. Their main responsibilities that they undertake include: welcoming, guiding, accompanying the audience to the buildings, informing the public, and promoting products at various points in the city.

BE PART OF A GREAT TEAM

Every year, the volunteers of OHT become a large group: during rehearsals with their team, at the info point, at OHT’s meetings, culminating in the closing party! The distinctive t-shirt they wear signifies their role during the event and makes them stand out. After the conclusion of the event, they receive an electronic certificate of their participation.

We expect our volunteers to be: kind, cooperative, patient, communicative, dynamic, and consistent. They are called upon to prepare adequately in order to fulfill the role they will undertake. Their participation in the initial informative meeting is important, where they will be divided into groups, for rehearsals that will be agreed upon with the volunteers of each group. Additionally, they can assist in parallel activities that take place before the main event and in other tasks such as literature research, writing texts, translations, poster posting, etc.
A prerequisite for participation in the volunteer team is being above the age of 18 and having availability on the days of the event.

Volunteer applications for Open House Thessaloniki 2025 have been completed. The names of the selected volunteers have been announced here. The volunteer application form will remain open for registration on the waiting list.
