MADE IN THESSALONIKI

For the past eleven years, “To Koumpi” (“The Button”) has stood in the area of the Ancient Agora — Thessaloniki’s first craft café, inviting visitors to discover the art of the handmade. It is also where my personal relationship with creation has evolved and matured over the years. With studies in Graphic Arts & Fine Arts and Museum Studies, and alongside my work in Theatre and Set Design, I began experimenting with art jewelry and creations made from fabric, paper, and other materials. Over time, I was captivated by the charm of old photographs and objects, which I now incorporate into collages, assemblages, and mixed-media compositions. “To Koumpi” is both a welcoming space and my personal studio — my own small universe — where I’m always happy to welcome anyone who wishes to get to know it.
