MADE IN THESSALONIKI

Dimmer workshop was born as an idea in 2013 by Dimitra Aloutzanidou and, after much experimentation and development, officially opened in 2017 as a shop and workshop in the Roman Forum area of Thessaloniki—where it still operates today (recently in a new space). It’s a small lighting studio where most lamps are made to order, aiming to be as personal and customized as possible. The main materials used are wood and plexiglass, along with others like metal, fabric, and cardboard. The workshop’s most well-known collection features wooden light boxes, whose front panels can depict anything one can imagine—from skylines of famous cities to dreamlike nature scenes, movie settings, or creative combinations of all three. The idea behind Dimmer is simple: when someone sees the bag with the Dimmer logo, they should already feel happy about the gift—before even opening it.
