MADE IN THESSALONIKI

SDR Lab is a creative workshop for wooden and other handmade constructions, located in the center of Thessaloniki, run by Vasilis and Paschalis Sideridis (the name “sdr” comes as an abstraction of their surname).
They design and craft handmade objects and offer custom solutions for original constructions, working mainly with wood but also with materials such as metal, cement, plastic, and fabric. Their work combines traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques like 3D design, laser cutting, and 3D printing. A special part of the lab is its woodworking workshops, where participants learn the basic tools and techniques of the craft while discovering the joy and satisfaction of making something with their own hands.
At SDR Lab, they believe that working with your hands is more than a skill — it’s an art form worth rediscovering. It brings joy, expression, and a deeper connection to the world around us. Their goal is to showcase this beauty and to build a community that values and creates it.
