MACEDONIAN TOMB OF PHOINIKAS
The earliest and best-preserved Macedonian tomb among the six that have been uncovered in the city of Thessaloniki. It is part of a cemetery from the late Classical and Hellenistic periods, situated on an elevated platform and belonging to the ancient settlement excavated 350m northwest of the tomb, in the area where the metro depot was constructed.
