CITY HOTEL
The hotel first opened in 2001, following a restoration and adaptive reuse of a 1972 building. In 2025, it underwent renovation, acquiring a new character. The design concept integrates Thessaloniki’s Byzantine legacy with the architectural vocabulary of the 1970s—the era of the hotel’s original construction—while incorporating references to contemporary urban culture. This synthesis is articulated through carefully selected materials, color palettes, and geometric patterns, establishing a dialogue between historical continuity and modern spatial expression.
